Japanese born Aiko Nakagawa is best known for being one of the founding members of FAILE.
Her mix of floral designs, girl cartoons and street images are all trademarks of her work. Her most recent show at the Ad hoc gallery sold out extremely quickly.
Aiko Nakagawa has been an influence on the street art scene as a founder of the artist collective FAILE for a long time. Her name appered in the Sotheby's catalogue as one of the most influential figures in street art along with Banksy, Faile, and Bast. Her solo works have been exhibited at Merry Karnowsky Gallery, LA, Joshua Liner Gallery, New York etc.
